Essay Writing Competition Report Date: 14th May, 2022
An Essay Writing Competition was hosted by Linguistic Club for the students of Classes III-XII on the 14th of May 2022 i.e. Saturday in the 7th & 8th period. It was an inter-class activity, wherein the students wrote their thoughts on the topic given to them one week before the competition. The topics of the essay writing competition were:
Class III-V : My Country
Class VI-VIII : Importance of Education
Class IX-XII : Importance of Discipline in Students’ Life
A total of 425 students approximately participated in the competition. The students were free to choose any language (English /Hindi). The Language teachers evaluated the essays of each class. They selected the best two essays from both English and Hindi languages. The purpose of the competition was to encourage the students to enhance
their thinking and writing skills.
